Section S278 AGREEMENTS 

We carry out infrastructure design and design checks for compliance with Local Design Standards and National Standards as set out in the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges associated with highway improvement works under Section 278 of the Highways Act 1980.

We also carry out infrastructure design and design checks for adoption Agreements under Section 38 of the Highways Act 1980, ensuring compliance with design standards but also seeking innovative designs, particularly on Estate Roads where it is essential to achieve traffic calming through design rather than the addition of “bolt on” features.
