A Travel Plan is a fundamental requirement of the planning process for medium and large developments. 

​

Our Travel Plans are prepared to accord with the Department for Transport's Good Practice Guidelines.

​

A Travel Plan is a package of measures to encourage residents, staff, customers and visitors to a development to use sustainable modes of transport. The aim is to reduce single occupancy car movements, reduce congestion and improve health and the environment.

​

Our services include a Travel Plan Co-Ordinator service to both private and public sector clients.

 

The Travel Plan co-ordinator will:-

• Implement the Travel Plan

• Liaise with the local Planning and Highway Authorities

• Provide personalised journey planning

• Consult and liaise with bus companies and secondary co-ordinators

• Investigate sustainable transport measures 

• Post occupation travel surveys
