Origin Transport Consultants Ltd were commissioned by NSS IV (Investments) LLP and Savills to provide transport planning advice for a planning appliation for the redevelopment of the existing Silwood Business Centre to provide a Life Sciences Centre at Silwood Science Park, Ascot.

 

The work included preparing a Transport Statement, a Travel Plan and a Technical Note addressing Local Highway Authority comments.

 

The Transport Statement included a review of existing conditions (walking/cycle infrastructure, local bus services, nearby road network, Personal Injury Collision Data), an overview of policies, access arrangements, servicing, and parking provisions for vehicles and cycles and the traffic impact on the surrounding highway network.

Specific issues for consideration were parking provision, justification for visibility splays as per Manual for Streets guidance, and details of the temporary refuse/recycling collection areas.
